THE END OF BTM

?

When I decided to hastily announce a BTM in August, it was in the hope that the spark which held together the old organizaiton team back during the first BTMs three years ago would somehow make its way back to us, as Limbo Con, in a way, reminded us of what had once been.

It turns out that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I would like to apologize to everyone who held hopes in me, and particularly apologize for promising what I could not deliver.

While this will not help clear the guilt, I would like to share a 320x200 OpenComputers video encoder I developed for this BTM: Nadeshicodec.

Once again, sincere apologies for disappointing and not delivering what I had promised.

If I may, I would like to request that nobody try to hastily pick up this particular BTM. I still feel bad for when groups of people have done this because of things which were entirely and solely my fault, putting an insane burden on themselves. Please don't make us as a community go through this again.

So this is how BTM ends, after all? Not with a bang, but a whimper?

Let's, at the very least, cherish the memories we have. Those cannot be taken away.
